We were called to repair a broken refrigerator last weekend in Sacramento, CA for refrigerator repair. The client explained that it did not cool enough and that there was a water leak in the refrigerator compartment. A large amount of ice was formed on the back wall of the refrigerating chamber. To repair the refrigerator, the ice had to be thawed in order to open the panel and carry out a full diagnosis. After we thawed the ice, the diagnosis showed that the evaporator freezing sensor and the evaporator fan were not working. The only reason that the fan did not work was because of the ice build up, which was caused by the broken freezing sensor. I replaced both the fan and the sensor, which brought the refrigerator back into working order.
